Dompé Foundation at the Museimpresa Assembly 2026
Dialogue, business culture, and new perspectives on industrial heritage
Once again, Fondazione Dompé took part in the 2026 Museimpresa Assembly, the annual gathering that brings together Italy’s network of corporate museums and archives to exchange views on the development of business culture and the activities of the Association.
The 18–19 May edition in Rome offered a valuable opportunity for dialogue and knowledge sharing among network members. The programme featured institutional sessions focused on defining strategic priorities, in-depth discussions on key themes shaping the future of business culture, as well as numerous informal networking occasions. Together, these moments fostered the exchange of experiences, ideas, and projects, reaffirming Museimpresa’s role as a platform for connection and shared growth.
One of the most relevant contributions came from Nomisma, whose focus on industrial tourism in Italy highlighted the growing cultural and economic significance of this phenomenon, now increasingly central to how the country’s industrial and territorial heritage is communicated and enhanced.
The programme also included a visit to the exhibition Flowers. From the Renaissance to Artificial Intelligence at the Chiostro del Bramante, as well as an experience at Eni’s Gazometro Ostiense site. Both offered further opportunities for discussion and reflection in settings of strong cultural and symbolic value.
Since 2019, Fondazione Dompé has been a member of Museimpresa and has played an active role within the network, contributing to a collective initiative that brings together corporate museums and archives committed to preserving and promoting Italy’s industrial memory. This commitment reflects the Foundation’s mission to safeguard and share the history of enterprise as a common heritage—one that bridges tradition and innovation and fosters new connections between culture, place, and the future.
