The exhibition “Dompé a L’Aquila. Dall’Italia al mondo” opens at Palazzo dell’Emiciclo

L’Aquila, September 22, 2026 – Opens to the public on Saturday, September 26, in the halls of the Palazzo dell’Emiciclo, the exhibition “Dompé a L’Aquila. Dall’Italia al mondo”, promoted by the Fondazione Dompé with the patronage of the Comune dell’Aquila and the Consiglio regionale dell’Abruzzo. The exhibition itinerary, which is part of the initiatives promoted on the occasion of L'Aquila Italian Capital of Culture 2026, brings together over 50 testimonies, including photographs and documents from the Archivio Storico della Fondazione Dompé, enriched by multimedia contents that expand the narrative and accompany the visitor in a contemporary viewing experience.
The narrative starts from the Farmacia Centrale Dompé in Piazza della Scala, opened in Milan at the end of the nineteenth century, and reaches up to the present day, focusing on the company's bond with the territory of L'Aquila, started in 1993 with the opening of the Campo di Pile plant. The Dompé hub in L’Aquila represents today one of the most advanced industrial and scientific hubs in Europe. With more than 300 employees, it has a production capacity of 700 million doses and 45 million packages a year, which reach over 40 countries.
The exhibition, with free admission, is open from Saturday, September 26 from 3:00 PM and on the following days from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, until October 2, 2026.
