"Towards a Knowledge Economy. A Dialogue with the Innovators of Tomorrow" is the title of the event organized by Dompé Foundation and the University of Pavia, taking place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Department of Drug Sciences, University of Pavia (Via Torquato Taramelli 12, Room 2.1, 2nd floor of the Teaching Hub).

The event marks five years of collaboration between Fondazione Dompé and the University of Pavia in supporting young students who are pursuing the most advanced paths of knowledge. This year, the Foundation is renewing its commitment with a new scholarship program that, for the first time, will support a PhD program.

The gathering will also serve as a meaningful occasion to celebrate the dedication of a lecture hall within the Department of Drug Sciences to Franco Dompé, a symbolic figure representing the enduring connection between Fondazione Dompé and the University of Pavia.

Franco Dompé graduated in Chemistry and Pharmacy from the University of Pavia in 1937, during the years when Professor Giulio Natta — Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry in 1963 — was on the faculty.
