Dompé Foundation has been operating in the United States since 2021 with a funding opportunity named after Rita Levi Montalcini - the only Italian woman to win the Nobel Prize in Medicine - in recognition of her groundbreaking scientific discoveries. The scholarship program is aimed at supporting students of all nationalities already admitted to a master's, PhD or post-doc program in neuroscience and/or neurobiology at a US university. 

To date, the Foundation has supported over 30 talented individuals enrolled in prestigious universities across the US, including Yale University, Harvard Medical School, Stanford University, University of California San Francisco, and Washington University in St. Louis.
