On Monday, October 20th, Alessandra Carnelli Dompé and Ylenia Zeqireya met with the new Master’s students in Bioengineering at the University of Padua to introduce the new scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year. The event, held in the Ke Lecture Hall at the Department of Information Engineering, featured Prof. Alessandra Bertoldo, Full Professor of Bioengineering and Director of the Master’s Degree Program in Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering, together with Prof. Mattia Veronese, Professor of Bioengineering and member of the Department of Information Engineering’s Communication Committee. The session concluded with Michele Simoncelli, Stella Rinaldi, and Mattia Campedelli sharing their experiences as previous scholarship recipients, recounting their academic journeys and offering words of inspiration to the next generation of STEM students.




Promoted by the Dompé Foundation in collaboration with the University of Padua, the initiative aims to celebrate and support emerging talent in the field of Bioengineering. It encourages an interdisciplinary approach that blends life sciences, engineering, and technological innovation, providing real opportunities for students who aspire to pursue excellence in research and discovery.




The scholarships, worth €15,000 gross per year for each recipient, are intended to support outstanding students throughout the entire two-year Master’s program.
